How do i use scroll lock on the the lenovo think pad? there is no button for this.

As far as i think you might have clicked the button "Scroll Lock" by which it locks down the scrolling of the screen!!

Hi. I would suggest pressing the Num Lock key and see if it goes off, press and hold Function(Fn) button and hit the Num Lock key or press and hold the shift key and press the Num Lock key. Hope This Helps

well first check weather the scroll lock key is enabled on the keyboard. if it is so just disable it.

Have you tried installing the drivers for the touchpad?

It should be The FN key which is down on the lower right hanmd side of your keyboard. and one of the F? keys ussually F9

download synaptics pointer device off the net its free.

Have you tried pressing the Fn + F8 keys? This combination is used to disable and enable the mouse pad.
