I once unlocked my Nokia AT&T phone using codes from http://www.wickedunlock.com/ , try if your phone is listed for unlocking
You can get the Code from service provider and Unlock it.............
Call the service provider ...
SOURCE: I need a free unlock code for my Nokia 6555b.
The lock-in is part of your phone service provider contract. Breaking the lock breaks a contract and may make you (or the person that sold you the thing) target of a civil lawsuit.
However, if your contract is beyond its bind-in period, you can ask AT&T for the unlock code, or they may unlock it for you for a small fee. Expect them to make a counter offer instead (new phone, SIM locked again at discount price).
Some providers allow a buy-out of the SIM lock. Fees depend on the remaining contract time and contract conditions.
Of course, you need to provide proof of ownership, they won't unlock phones that got lost or are stolen.
