The float switch may be hung up and this can cause the dishwasher to be stuck in a cycle. Check the tutorial and the video for checking this part.
Timer / Control
If your dishwasher gets stuck in a cycle first try shutting off the
breaker for at least 5 minutes if this does not correct the problem you
will need to replace timer/electronic control board.
my dishwasher starts off with good intentions then a couple of minutes later it starts beeping non stop.I open the door to find it has turned on to the rinse cycle and will not do its job.I continue to start it again and then it repeats the problem again. Can you help?
Sounds like The settings have messed up it happened to mine a while back you need to do a hard reset of the dish washer mine was unplugging the thing then plugging back in 30 seconds later then holding the cycle button a few seconds and then power on again. Find your hard reset combination of what your make and model of the dishwasher is I hope this helps.
Your problem is the electronic control board and unfortant that you cant repair or even get parts for it . Only if you get the whole control board will you fix your problem assy unless you find a good appliance man that repairs electronic control boards
