Either:

1. not enough water gets into the dishwasher. open the dishwasher 3-4 times during cycle, you should see some water at least once, if not - check water valve, water level float and water pressure.
2. the pump is clogged - there is water, the motor will run but no water is circulated. Check pump filters, check chopper and impeller.
3. motor in main pump is not working - could be caused by something stuck on the impeller or chopper or could be a problem with the motor itself or control board. Check if line voltage (110-120v AC) is coming to the motor during wash/rinse cycle.

Good luck,

Kenmore HE 4t Elite Front Loader Washing Machine

Inside the dispenser drawer, at the bottom there is a tab that you can push down to remove the dispenser drawer. Remove the drawer and check if the dispenser holes are clogged, this is a common cause.

Hi. my washing smells damp if left in washer for more than 3 hours after wash cycle. have cleaned machine with a special cleaner and started washing at 40 instead of 30.

30 is a very good temperature for encouraging the growth of moulds and bacteria, and 40 is a near perfect temperature for doing so.

There are a few steps you can take to reduce the severity of the common problem you have.

1. Run the machine empty on the highest temperature wash possible (ideally 90 degrees C, but even a 60C cycle will have a positive effect). As you have an existing problem, give it a few goes to start with and consider adding either laundry bleach or peroxide powder (any of the stain removing "oxy-action" type powders are pretty good at bug killing). Afterwards, run at least one boil wash per month, either with items suitable for boil washing or if not just run the machine empty.

2. Between washes, always leave the drawer open an inch or two and leave the door ajar to allow air circulation.

3. Weekly, remove and clean the detergent drawer and the aperture it fits into, and clean the door seal.

4. Try lower dosages of detergent and conditioner. Overdosing just wastes money and provides food for the moulds and bacteria producing those foul odours. Manufacturer's recommended dosages are always rather generous as they sell more product that way.

5. Try different brands of powder and conditioner. For some reason, certain brands (especially of conditioner) cause problems in certain machines, and it's not necessarily the budget brands.

6. Keep your conditioner in the dark. Once opened, if any bug spores get into it the light just encourages them to breed.

7. Consider using an all in one powder which includes the conditioner. Apart from saving money they seem to cause fewer odour problems.

8. Avoid liquid type detergents, other than the special types designed for woollens and silk washing. Not only do liquids cost a lot more, they are ideal breeding soups for some bacteria.

9. If you have to leave laundry in the machine for a few hours post-cycle, consider setting the machine on rinse hold until you return to it. By leaving them in a soggy pile inside the machine they effectively become a textile compost heap and also become far more creased. Rinse hold slows the process down a great deal and reduces your ironing time, so the small time penalty in allowing the machine to complete the final rinse and spin when you return is usually more than offset.

Do I put powder detergent in the same place I put Liquid detergent?

Detergent compartment
Add liquid or powdered detergent to this compartment for your
wash cycle. The detergent separator must always be in place,
either in the front or back position.
Do not fill beyond the “MAX” level.
Liquid or powdered color-safe bleach may be added to the
Main Wash compartment along with the same type of
detergent, liquid or powdered.
Liquid detergent: Put the SEPARATOR in the front position,
between the guides, as shown as shown by Position 1 below.
There will be no gap between the bottom of the wash cycle detergent
compartment and the bottom of the separator.

Powdered detergent:
Put the SEPARATOR in the back
position, behind the guides as shown by Position 1 below. There will be
a gap between the bottom of the wash cycle detergent
compartment and the bottom of the separator.

NOTE: The separator will be in the POWDER (back) position
when shipped from the factory.

Where do i put washing powder in hotpoint aquarius 1000 three compartments in drawer what solutions go in what compartment

with experience, put powder in the first, softner in the middle second, pre wash in the third, but with that model i find its always best to use a liquid or gel direct into the machine, it makes the life of the machine last longer, also stops any build up residue

Maytag model mdbtt70aww. After the end cycle. open the door and found detergent tab on the bottom and the main wash cover is opened. Maytag diswasher model MDBTT70AWW. Put dishes and so...

Check both arms are spinning freely when you have the machine loaded up normally.
If thats ok you could try powder instead of tabs if they are not disolving correctly
