Check the lead from monitor to pc has not come adrift. If it is ok at both ends then check your video card in your pc. Some pc's have 2 'd' connectors if it is a 'all onboard' type of mainboard and has had an extra video card installed...try moving to the other connection

TURNS ON. I SEE "ACER" ON THE SCREEN AND THEN IT SAY NO SIGNAL AND GOES TO BLACK.

You are seeing the monitor's splash screen that tells you the monitor is OK. It is not receiving a signal from the computer. That's the problem

After starting the computer the screen is black and only displays digital analog on screen and the blue light is flashing. It then displays a box say "check signal digital analog." please help me. Thanx.

This blue light flashing means there is power to monitor bu NO video signal. No Analog or digital Video . analog is the regular plug for PC to Monitor, the other is HDMI digital or other digital. Check signal digital/analog means again: No video signal from PC detected.

Nec Multisync LCD 195VXM+ black screen after turning on computer

I'm thinking your video card is sending a signal the monitor doesn't recognize.
You'll need to start the computer and hit F8 until you get the black and white menu. Choose the VGA mode and it should work well enough for you to adjust the refresh rate or the resolution to get the monitor to work

No Signal

You have to use the FN key and F5 to change between the LCD screen and the external monitor. It may be F8 also, depending on the laptop model.

Look on the F keys for a little picture of a monitor.

Once you have found it, hold the FN key and tap the F key and it should switch to the external monitor.
