This is kinda vague i hope this helps! first turn the equlizer to flat make sure eveything is equal. then turn he volume about 3/4 of the way up. this is around the point where th radiostartsto send distortion to the speakers (the easiest way to blow speakers) . thenstartwith the bass. eeryones ears are different i usually tue the bass to a notch or so below half ao if the radio ges to +12 i wouldput it on 4 or 5. next the mids are usully set at about +2 or 3. then thetrebbel is set a hairhigher than the bass. make this your maximum listenig volume so you dong damage the speakers. Hope this helped! let me know

Thanks for the answer - If we have 3 controls as Bass, Mid and Treble. If we keep those in 12 O Clock position, will the output level be equal. In using the Bass and Treble control only (if we have...

If all are in 12 o'clock position they are "flat" (nothing has been added or subtracted foam input signal) If you only have bass & treble, yes adjusting will affect "mids" but Mids change can go both ways dependent on increase or decrease of Bass and /or treble. By increasing bass you will pull some mids up also. By increasing treble you'll subtract some mids.

Having Trouble Assessing Bass and Treble Controls

Bass and treble can be adjusted via the sound menu only when the z-enhancer is set to off.

To change them while the Z-enhancer is on (B-Boost, Excite, Impact) choose the enhancer mode, then press the play/ent button. You can then use the up/down arrows to adjust bass and treble to -3 to +3

New car, no manual

There is no straigt forward bass and treble adjustment. You must adjust in either the (x-over) or (users EQ) function. It is a bit tedious but performs the bass and treble adjustments at multiple frequencies.
