HP Officejet H470 InkJet Printer Logo
Posted on Mar 29, 2017

Officejet HP470 refuses to print. The ON/Off light blink green, the continue light blinks orange and the cartridge lights are lit continually. When the printer is turned on you do here a noise like a motor runs briefly. Also, a message displays of the computer "The cartridge is installed". I did note that the print head can not be moved manually form the left position as there are (2) rubber rectangular shaped pads and a plastic piece located between the pads that project up far enough to interfere the print head from moving form its parked position. There are no error messages that are displayed. Followed the recommendations in the instructions to no avail. HELP!! This isn't a cheep printer.

SOURCE: printer won't print

  1. first you make a self test print by the printer, for this you first switch off the printer then press and hold the button on your printer, and switch on the printer
  2. if you get the test printout all the characters on paper
  3. now you can find the printer is ok and it is work in good condition
  4. now check the cable connection, if it okay
  5. check the installed printer driver software
  6. for these purpose
  7. re install the printer software
  • If your computer not self printing do as follows
  • now your printer is in trouble
  • clean nozzle, print head, align catridge
  • for these go to printers and faxes, on start menu, click right mouse button on the printer icon, select printing preferences, select maintenance option
wish you all the best

SOURCE: officejet d135 - "Supply Expired" error message

HP, in order to sell more ink, monitors the expiration date of the cartridges installed. Solution is either to buy a new unexpired cartridge from HP or to disable the date monitoring built in to the printer. This latter is done by removing the button cell located inside the D135 printer on the left hand side or by simply slipping a thin piece of plastic between button cell and metal contact. You will no longer have date function on printer, but it won't object to expired cartridges either.

My hp laserjet 1300 printer shows blinking the orange light instead of the green one and I couldn't find out what is the reason

1. Go light/button blinks twice with solid green and orange lights
2. Green light starts blinking with go light twice and then both go off
3. orange light goes off.
4. green light followed by orange light followed by go light cycle twice and a third time by the green light
5.followed by the orange light continuously blinking.

I have already tried the following trouble-shooting:

1. Put in a new cartridge
2. Made sure there is paper properly seated in the tray
3. Made sure all doors closed (I even took off left side to verify no memory cards
4. Verified all doors closed
5. Done a cold reboot by holding the Go button while turning the unit on.
6. Repeated steps 1-5 multiple times.Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

Lexmark e260d printer 4th light orange is continuously flashing. New toner cartridge was installed. Not printing

If the blinking light is on Toner Low (4th light starting from left), press and release the Continue button (green button) to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. If the light is still blinking, the photoconductor is almost full and should be replaced.

Lexmark E260dn toner light is still on after changing the toner cartridge

Toner light is ON, I would assume that the light is solid and not blinking. You can press and release to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. With the printer turned off, remove the toner cartridge and shake it to extend its life. Check the replacement toner cartridge if it is the one suitable for your region.

If the blinking light is on Toner Low, press and release the Continue button (green button) to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. If the light is still blinking, the photoconductor is almost full and should be replaced.

Ink cartridge installed but cartridge light continues to blink

Have you only replaced the magenta cartridge, or have you also tried the print head. A bad print head can cause the ink to read as empty or clogged.
