My Asus computer is in German. How do I change to english?

Go to start (green button bottom left of screen ) conrol panel (screen with a tick and a pencil ) then regional connections ( plain globe ) double click. then click on drop down arrow scroll through untill you see english.

Hi. My asus transformer pad has only german language, how could i change it to english? Apart german language there is no additional languages at all, as i found out. Please help, cos i cannot understand...

My computer is a Eee and its in german i dont read german. I needed to change my settings to english. I need to be guided.
click start control panel,regional and language options select regional language options from the drop down list select the language you want also from the bottom drop up list you can select your present location location or another language

I was given an acer aspire one notebook but windows 7 appears to be in german how can i change this to english
The program disc loaded into this computer was in German
An English version is needed
This can not be changed by typing in anything with the German version loaded into it

My laptop is installed with OS in German which I cant understand. I want to change it to English. what steps should I follow? Thanks in advance
Heya

First of all
Click on start
Go to control panel
Then click on Regional and language setting
Click on regional options
Select english from the drop down menu
Then click on advanced and select english again from the drop down menu
Click on apply and then OK
Hope this fixes your problem

If this doesn't fixes your problem than the base version of windows is german,So in order to change that unfortunately you would have to reinstall windows again with a fresh english version copy

Change operating language
How to change OS language from Dutch to English? The regional settings change only the keyboard, the multilanguage option is not available on ASUS Eee PC's XP Home!!! It is just a localized version: it saya everything in Dutch.
Reinstalling in English, I can not use my clean serial, it does not accept it and also I lose all the drivers...
So how could we REALLY do it?

If you do a hard restore, when the os loads it will ask what language you want

Change language to English
This might be a problem.. Windows controls the actual display language (thats the dialog boxes, the windows and all the screen messages you see).

If you have a german copy of windows it might be just german. That means you might NOT be able to change the display language to english.

IF you have what's called windows MUI you might be able to change the display language.

Ask the guy or company you bought it from if they have windows CD's. You're likely going to need them. See if by any remote chance you DO have Windows XP MUI (stands for multi user interface)

It's unlikely you do, but at least ask.


There are options to change the language but it's usually not for the display it's for spelling or how dates and the like appear.
