Okay so my webcam was working fine but then it stopped working there was a message prompting me to uninstall and try again but I can't reinstall it! Can you help me please

Uninstall it, then reinstall it, without the camera plugged in. DONT plug camera in untill it tells you to, then switch off computer then switch back on this should solve the problem.

Remove the webcam drivers and then reinstall them if this wont solve you will need to check/open the device mananger, check for the properties of the webcam and update drivers once again.
Scan the PC for virus if there are faulty files it is possible that the OS is corrupt. If not the webcam hardware might be faulty.

Hii when im conecting the webcam a message box is showing after 2005.11.1 error.can u help me?

Are you XP?

A choice; Uninstall the webcam and reinstall with newer drivers or
Try this;

Click start, run, type msconfig and click ok.

On the 'General' tab, tick 'Selective Startup'.

On the 'Startup' tab, uncheck all except your antivirus programs.

Click apply, click ok, and reboot when prompted. When the System configuration utility dialog box appears on restart, put a check in the box to not show this again, and click ok.

If this stops the error message, go back to msconfig and recheck half the startup items. Click apply, ok, and reboot. If the message comes back, you'll know that one of the items you rechecked is causing the issue. Continue this way until you isolate the program that causes the message.

Webcam being used by some other unknown software.

You will have to reinstall the Camera Driver. Uninstall the Camera Driver from the Device Manager and then reinstall it. Also, install MSN once you reinstall the Camera Driver.

My Vectorworks 2009 application keeps crashing everytime I try opening. This is the message I receive: "The application Vecotworks 2009 quit unexpectedly. Mac Os X and other applications are not affected....

first try to uninstall that from control panel and reinstall again and check whether it is liscenced. okay
if it not work then it has affected your registry then either upgrade your operating system or format your hard disk. and install this application again. it will work properly. okay

My lexmark 6570 stopped scanning - fine before. Uninstalled it and tried to reinstall. Got message about problem code 10. Also tried system restore. Used disc and also tried to download driver from...

I uninstalled it again, then downloaded and ran Registry Easy. Reinstalled, rebooted and fingers crossed its working - wirelessly as well! May it continue. Now will see if my epson 830U will co-operate as well. That decided to go on strike 3 days ago.

scan you computer with an antivirus, try turning off the antivirus and try to run YM again, if all fails then uninstall and reinstall againg :)

ok,

what you can do is uninstall your cam drivers and reinstall again, as soon as your computer recognizes the camera, try following the new device wizard and select install from a list of specific location. this will prompt you with a compatible driver for your cam and select that. then follow all the prompts and click finish. after installing it, restart your computer.
then try it now.
