I recently recieved my USB data cable and it had no instruction. I tried to install it, but I am clueless. Please, someone give me instructions on how to install so I can use it. Thank you so much. I have a sanyo 6650 and purchased a data cable to transfer photos on to my pc and thought the cd drivers came with it but no, now i have the cable which seems to charge my phone through the computer but no drivers, please help
Usually you can down load the driver/photo smart software you need. Go to your provider web page and see if they have it for a free download. Also when you put pictures on a CD at a store, those CD come with photo smart/share software that you can use. If you have internet access, you can send the pictures to email, then open your email and save the pictures in the computer.

As an alternative, try this:
1. Download current version Sprint PCS Connection Modem and USB software from Sprint Downloads
Download Universal Extractor from http://legroom.net/software/uniextract
2. Extract driver from Sprint PCS Connection software using Universal Extractor
3. Run installer for SY03 driver from extraction folder:
Sprint_PCS_CM_v044\program files\Common Files\Sprint\Sanyo SY03\SANYO_Installer\USB_DRIVER\sy03_setup.exe
Original Katana uses SY03 driver.

I have a Katana phone as well. The phone company said that they did not carry the cords to these phones anymore and there was not a disc that came with them. All I want to do is Take the pictures from the phone and put them on the computer and or to a disc. I do have the cord but that is it. I have tried going to different sites and such.But I am lost to all this stuff about drivers and software. I'll keep looking...but any help will be grateful. :0)
