Not sure about the timer. Our 55" samsung broke last week and it was shutting on/off no picture just turn on music recycling off/on. The blue light was lite on TV and red light to the right was blinking. The TV repair guy replace the Power Supply board b/c of swollen capacitors, was under warranty. The board runs about 70 bucks though. Took him all of 5 mins after unscrewing the back cover of TV. The board is at the bottom center after cover is removed. Hope this helps
turn your tv on. on the tv it self press and hold the " - " like your turing it down. then on your remote press and hold the number " 0 " for five seconds. it should say the the meter has been reset to zero.
When the timer light stoped flashing the remote control would not turn on the TV. The next time the light quit flashing I held the power button in on the TV for about 5 seconds and it came on and has had no problems since then with the remote or the local TV power button.
You have a bad power supply. Just replace it and you should be good to go. The green light may come on the black box, but the supply is putting out a low amp value.
First plug in again and look at led light, the amount it blinks tells what is wrong. Then if it stays lite it tells something also. You can try Display-channel 5-volume +- Power(service mode). Then Channel 8-enter(test reset). If this doesn't work then you will have to replace somethings like F601, R607, Q601, IC601, R612, VDR601.
I had a simliar problem and just left teh set plugged in overnight and the next afternoon I noticed that teh remote red LED was not on anymore and tehn when I used the remote the set turned on!
My JVC AV-32FA44 wont turn on. the on timer light blinks. When i unplug it and plug it back in i get beeping (i stoped counting at 50 beeps) then it stops and the light just blinks.
