I have no sound amp powers up but wont put out any sound .......wear can i buy rca jacks

well here we go how do you have your pioneer radio connected .
did you run the radio speaker wire out to the factory speaker or did you have an amp connected to the rca output jacks.

1 well if the radio connect by the speaker wire out the
output chip in the radio is fried and needs repair ....

2. if u have a amp connected to power your speakers for sound
check the amp to make sure you have power and no lose connection or speaker wires disconnected.
3. it also possible that the rca jacks are fried too


I no by experience that pioneer loses ground on the audio output jack (rca) well what we did to fix it is..
take and 18 gauge wire stripe back about 1/2" to 1" of the insulation to expose the copper wire and wrap this around the metal casing of the rca jacks and then ground the wire to a ground point do this for both left and right rca jacks...

Best to use the line out jacks. The phone jack is stereo and you would have to use a wye cable for that.

Unplug,replug the tv about an hour later.Let the tv to reset it self back to factory setting.Go in ur tv menu go to AUDIO setting.Go down to reset.Now ur tv should have sound back.No,sound after the reset.Than ur tv Tuner board is dead,require changing the Tuner board.

It might just be an easy fix at your local electronics repair shop. May be cheaper than buying a new amp. Was for me.

try new rca jack or the jack inside the amp may be mess up

it could be your input section on your amplifier were you rca jacks go in but you should check and make sure it aint your cd player out put on your rca jacks the easy way to check this is with a meter and a cd playing in your cd player turn your meter on volts usually your out put on rca 2.5v some cd players put out 5v so take your postive tester needle and stick it in the inside part of your rca jack and take negative tester needle and touch the outerside of the rca jacks and see if you get any reading if do that good on that part but on your amp no it could be in the input section of your amp it could be as simple as a burnt trace wire on the bottom circuit board or a op amp chip theirs alot in a amplifier but you can test them with a meter to find out witch one bad but i would take it to some one that work on amplifiers if you dont know how to test them

With out an input jack you cannot connect straight to your head unit. The RCA out puts only send a signal out. Your best bet is use an FM transmitter for your Ipod. The sound wont be as good but I can't think of another way with buying a new head unit.

You have a Direct Short in the System Between the Head Unit and the Amp. Check the Ground on the Amp and then Check all the Wires behind the Stereo and the Common Ground There. You could even have a Spot in the New RCA Cables that is Touching Metal Somewhere. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

I THINK YOU NEED TO BUY NEW RCA JACKS,, BECAUSE IF THE ELECTRICAL FUSE WENT FROMT HE TV TO RCA JACKS THEN ALL THE CORDS THAT PLUGS TO THE PS2 ARE SHORTED OUT.

did it work well before?is it new? try moving the rca's and se if you hear any thing?
