I have a DNS-323 NAS and want to stream the media to my samsung BD-c5000 (blu-ray player). I have a cat6 via a d-link router going up to the blu-ray. Any way of doing this without having to buy a media receiver and keeping it simple (not a big techy). I dont mind getting a media receiver - suggest one? Is there one with a dvr?

SOURCE: Easy Search does not pick up the DNS 323

This may be problem with your personal firewall on Windows workstation where you are running the Easy Search utilit. Try disabling the firewall while you run it.

Send audio/video from my desktop to my BD-F5700

1. Connect the BD-F5700 to your wireless home network.
2. Open your Windows Media Player application on your desktop. Select the ' Stream' tab and from the dropdown list select the "Automatically allow devices to play my media" option. Follow the instructions. Please note that this works with Windows 7, not sure about earlier or later versions.

How does one stream netflix via Blu Ray wired to ISP through a tv?

First you have to hook up network cable to Blue Ray player and to router
Next update software in Blue Ray player by going thru your menu in blue ray player to settings
If you have your blue ray player with Netflix app then all
you do is click on app and log in.
And make sure HDMI cable is plugged into TV.
And that should work for you. Any problems write me back.

My blu-ray won't let me connect to netflix on demand

The photo you put suggests a Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-Ray player which doesn't appear to have Netflix Streaming built in to the player. Follow this link for Samsung players that do support Netflix:

Dynex router blocks connection of Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-Ray to Net

I'm not familiar with that particular router, but all of them are about the same. You can go in and edit firewall settings to allow a particular IP address to have access. Don't disable the firewall completely, just set it to allow that I.P address to have full access.

I try to connect DLINK dns 323 to WD TV by USB cable but it not work how can i solve this

The USB port on the D-Link DNS 323 NAS is for a printer only. It won't work with your WD TV. Your best bet would be to plug the WD TV into a PC that is connected to your network along with the D-Link DNS 323 NAS and serve your media files that way.
