Bought a sony ericsson bluetooth headset hbhpv705, a few months ago and was unable to turn on so sent it back. Have just bought one from ebay brand new and am having the same problems, am I doing something wrong?

most the time it should work just fine. all you would have to do is put the bluetooth in pairing mode (most bluetooth just require pressing the power button down for a few seconds, otherwise look at specific bluetooth Manuel) then on your phone scan of bluetooth in the bluetooth menu. once you see the name of your bluetooth pop up on the screen select it and pair with it (it may ask you for a code. most time the code will be 0000 or 1234)

you can log on to the website and check for the compatible devices and see if your phones are among the supported devices.
also, it could be that your bluetooth headset is faulty and as a result cannot be detected, you can try searching for other bluetooth devices using your phone and if it does find them, then you can confirm that your headset is faulty or broken.
at this point, you can send it back to the store where you bought it from and get a replacement or you can send it for repairs.

Be sure the the headset in in 'Pairing' mode.
When in pairing mode, the light should be flashing red and blue or have a steady blue.
The put most headsets in pairing mode, turn headset OFF, then hold the power button until it goes into pairing mode as discribed above.
Then you can discover it with your phone or PC. Pin (pass key) should be 0000 (4 Zeros) or try 1111, 1234, 9999

you can connect your sony ericsson t616 to your motorola h700. for that you have to switch on the bluetooth in your phone then you must switch on your bluetooth headset. after that from your phone select the option "search for any devices". but i would suggest that you can go for a sony ericsson bluetooth headset instead of any other brand,because motorola might not be compatible.

You should press both + and - button on your head set and wait until green light turns into red.

turn the bluetooth on wait 10 seconds after the bluetooth has turned on. after it has turned on hold the (+) & (-) volume buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds. the light on the outside will then start to flash green and red, and it is ready to pair to your phone.

when a file is sent to the folder named other, it usually means the fone cannot play the desired file.
