try driver from seagull scientific and choose printer model Argox X 1000 PPLB . double check with another parallel port cable.

how you can fix this is . in the forgeAG program click on open icon then insert the CD that came with the scanner then search under the cd cpt_tools then application generator then batch then 8 series then AG samples and choose the 8000 one uploaded it to the scanner . and you will be good to go

This model is an thermal printer.
The thermal printhead need to be cleaned with isopropylic alchool with a cotton bud.

if you have the Keyboard Wedge - no drivers needed
, USB and RS-232 drivers are needed for windows and your software must support this type.
