What happens when you try to print?
Here's a real generic solution that helps for a lot of "can't print" or "stops printing" issues.

Remove the printer from the PC, keep aside and connect after the PC is shut down and restarted. If there is no change, then remove printer, uninstall the software, reinstall and connect the printer to check.
If not there can be errors in the mechanism/mainboard.
check to see the drive, if motor is jammed or head is not moving freely.

remove the cartidge and replace with a new one,
clean the rubber roller and check all drivers are installed correctly or that you have the most uptodate versions.
if this doesnt help solve it, you could invest in a printer repair kit specified for your printer usually found in p.c shops..

You say test page....what is on this test page? Could be an alignment page.

The fuser is located in the back of the printer. I think it's held in by to screws. It's about hte same size as the toner cartridge. Please visit these websites.
