Memory card problem (storing music)

Hi I have a 1gb memory card and am having trouble adding music onto it. I have 84 tracks stored on memory and the phone itself only takes 11 tracks. when I go into the pc studio it doesn't give an option to direct to the memory card and when I try to copy to phone is says memory full. surely 1gb memory card should hold more than 84 tracks or is it not like an iPod?

try converting youor files to mp3 formate.

Your phone is similar not like an IPod. What type of files are your music ? For example , if it's a "wav" format, then yes you might only able to fit a few. Usually 1 song in a wave format is around 40MB.

You transfer your music from your pc to your phone memory, you then have to move the music from your phone memory to the memory card

Memory full - I have a TM506 with a 1GB M2 memory card. (and also a 4GB). I used to be able to send text messages all the time with photos, But now I keep getting a message saying "memory full" when I try...

Hi,

This is because when you send a text message it gets stored in the outbox and it wil be sent.As there is no memory in the phone the message sent cannot be stored up in outbox which says memory full.

Please delete the images ,music files from the phone memory so that you can sent the text messages with photos.

Thanx

How to increase message memory in sony ericsson w700i

Hi jonothomask,
The Sony Ericsson W700i comes with 34 Mbytes of internal memory & the phone comes with a 256 Mbytes Memory Stick PRO Duo™ which will store approximately sixty four music tracks. The incoming messages will be stored in the internal memory only. So it cannot be extended even by the extternal memory card.

Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance

good luck with your fix.
have a nice day.

A VERY HELPFUL RATING IS APPRECIATED,
Thanks

Z3 will not accept a 2g card

The Dimage Z3 accept SD cards up to 1GB (Minolta says 512 Mb, and sold it with 16Mb). This camera is 4MP , and uses less memory on card, therefore a 512MB card will be enough for it.

SanDisk Flash memory card - 512 MB SD Memory ...

from $13 - 20 stores

PNY Flash memory card - 512 MB SD Memory Card ...

from $3 - 2 stores

SanDisk SD Industrial Flash memory card - 512 ... from $14

Here 1 Gb, try at your risk, but they normally work:

1GB Flash Memory Upgrade Card for Konica ... £3.44 - Memory Express

Can't get music from itunes onto micro sd card

Hi,
Basically, when you buy music from online stores such as iTunes, RealRhapsody.... they are actually DRM protected content and you will not be able to play them on mp3 players which do not support their formats. In such case, the option is to Burn those tracks to a CD and then rip them once again to the HD wherein the DRM will be removed and you will get the tracks in (DRM free) MP3 format. After this you will be able to transfer them to a memory card or to most mp3 players or mobile phones or PDAs...
In case you have purchased a great amount of music from these stores, you can go ahead and use TuneClone which acts as a Virtual CD-ROM drive on your PC, and lets you remove the DRM element without having to waste actual CD's.
You can check out the same at their website: http://www.tuneclone.com  Click Here to know the exact steps as well

Trying to store music

Hi,

The phone will always store data in the small internal memory when you transfer something to it...you need to enter the file mamager and move the files to the memory card. It is a small annoyance of the Prada. I personally just use an external card reader...so much easier and faster.

MicroSD upgrade

You can add more storage memory for your device by using microSD cards. You can plug the microSD card into the slot provided on the player and then store your files on the card. If you had a 1GB player and added a 1GB card you've effectively doubled your memory. That's probably the memory upgrade you're thinking about.
