I can't see any software upgrade under the downloads section - I've updated the speed camera database (after which the problems started) - could you give some more details please ?
Hi,Please go to Preference option on your navman. From the main screen you can setup the following preferences.Now scroll to 3rd page of the prefrences.There you will see the following options:
Start Up – enable/disable the tutorial and language selection screen that appear when the system is switched on.
Saved Info – here you can delete recent locations, favourites, avoidances and reset to factory defaults.
Bluetooth – this option allows you to setup bluetooth pairing with a mobile phone.
Tutorial – run the tutorial that appears at startup.
Shop Demo--runs a demo so you can see the Navman S50 in action.
Just select the SAVED INFO option and then you will see a RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULT OPTION.

We have the same problem - updated speed cameras in April now it wont move off the menu screen. Cant go into Navigation, but photos, MP3 work ok. Evesham where we got it from have closed down.
Those directions don't seem to have to do with this model - my Nav-Cam 7700 doesn't have these menu choices, either preferences or Bluetooth. Plus the manual FixYa has posted is for the 7500 model, not the 7700 model it is listed as.
