A flickering display usually indicated a failing power supply. Check out our web site at
www.ccl-la.com We have a free step by step repair guide for the 214t that will show you how to open the case. Once inside look at the power supply for parts called capacitors. The tops should be perfectly flat and I would bet your have bulges which indicate they are damaged. If you find bad caps and them replace them you should be back going without any flickering. Many LCD monitors will have issues after 2-3 years of use. If you have any more questions just let us know.
