I have a 52 inch Sony Bravia tv. There are three vertical lines on the screen from top to bottom that have shown up in the last day or two. I'm not sure what happened, or if I can fix...but its woth a try. The lines show up best on dark colors, and they are the same color as whatever is on the screen, only a shade darker.

Sony panels run around $1,500.00 and up. Go to Face Book and type in (I Have a Defective SONY TV.) Click on LIke So you can Post Your Problem. Their you can get a replacement TV From SONY !!!! If it turns out that you do have a Bad Display Panel.
The tv board call the T-CON decoders board have problems,that why colors vertical lines are showing up in the tv LCD screen panel.The T-CON decoders board,this board sit wright at middle bottom of the tv LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decoders board for the replacement.
Press the "WIDE" button on the TV remote a few times to change the TV wide mode settings until you get it to "FULL". If that does not fix it, look on your Cable box remote for an "Aspect" or "Format" button and press it a few times. I hope this helps.
This maybe the symptom of a bad Panel. One Vertically This line is 99% bad panel. Call your warranty provider or SONY tech support if purchased under 2 years.
