I'm using Windows 7 with Sound Blaster Audigy 2 and I had to; right click the speaker icon, left click "Playback devices", left click speakers, in lower left of box left click "Configure", then left click 5.1 surround. And of course there's more. Go into programs and open the Sound Blaster "Audio Console" and left click "CMSS 3D" and look under "CMSS Modes" , if OFF is listed in the box click on the down arrow and change it to CMSS. Now all speakers work just fine.

Some of my speakers arn't playing sound on my HT-E555OW

If you are trying to play a cd, you must manually tell the unit to play it in surround sound. Cd audio defaults to stereo only. Does it do the same thing if you are playing a dvd? If it happens on dvd's as well, then something in the speaker setup menu is wrong.

How to play computer sounds through microphone

There may, of course, sounds from a microphone, because there is a speaker, but you can use sounds from a microphone or something speakers connected to the microphone system is played. Computer games, but might sound a bit complicated because they usually lead to loud sounds into the microphone to a number set.

1. Find the computer that you want to play sound. Go to Control Panel and click on "Hardware and Sound." Under "Sound" in "Changing the system sounds." You can access various Windows sounds by selecting them and clicking "Test".

2. External speakers to the sound card or audio output on a laptop. With active speakers is recommended, the stronger the better. Set the microphone in front of the speaker.

3. Connect the microphone and play the sound from computer speakers. That should pass the microphone for recording or performing live.
All speakers on x-530 pass test but no sound comes from the center speaker when movies or music is played

Is the speaker system set up in Windows as a 5.1 speaker system? If so, the problem with the sound is the program used to play the audio. For example if you are watching a movie and the player used does not support 5.1 then it will not play the audio properly. If the sound works correctly playing a game in 5.1 you should be able to figure it out from there.

No sound from subwoofer, i have a JBL subwoofer the side or small speakers will play but the woofer will not i ran a sound check and it was stated that all speakers was working fine. could it be that my...

Are you using the Creative speaker test program? It usually has a picture of a generic layout of a pc system, with the speakers around it, showing a speaker for each that you should have plugged in. There should be a test button that will play a sound through each speaker. If a sound plays from your center speaker when the subwoofer picture is lit up then you may have a cord plugged in incorrectly on either the subwoofer or on the back of the soundcard. I've ran into this many times.
The best way to set up surround sound is to get your speakers placed or mounted on the wall, then run one wire at a time into the subwoofer, to ensure that the front left is hooked into the subwoofer in the front left, front right into front right, etc. Then once the speakers are hooked into the subwoofer start running the outputs from the subwooofer one at a time into the sound card. After each connection run the test program and watch the pictures light up as the sound plays, and make sure that the speaker playing sound in your place is the same speaker that is lit up on the test program.
I hope that helps, otherwise the amp is probably bad. Let me know if you need more help.

I have a creative inspire 5.1home theater i need 5.1 songs

5.1 plays surround sound tracks when available, when playing an audio track that was recorded in stereo (2 channel) it should only emit from the front left and right speaker, and when playing a movie in 5.1 at points in the audio track all five speakers should emit sound. Is this the case?

External speakers do not play

It is not an issue with the speakers or the sound card as you get sound in media player and also while playing cd's.
It could be the volume settings on the player tht the websites use to play the audio or the video,

No sound

I've had my speakers for about a year now and all of a sudden they just stopped playing music/sound. I can still hear that 'fuzz' if I put either speaker up to my ear. Everything lights up properly but nothing is being played.
