Question about HP Compaq nx9030 Notebook

I recently installed windows 7 on my pc but there are no audio drivers that are compatible with my computer now. Where can i get audio drivers that will be compatible?

I instal a windows vista but i can't find my audio

Is your audio device compatible with Windows 7? Did you check the hardware compatibility list before you installed the upgrade? Did you run the compatibility test (called Is Your Computer ready for 7?)

Find the list here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx Click on hardware and then find your device. If your device is compatible, the list will tell you - you will also find additional information at the post.

If your device is not compatible, you will have to upgrade it to a devise that is compatible.

I've recently upgraded to Windows 7 on my IXTREME/GOLD S 1919 PC but cannot find the sound drivers to download. Please advise

I suspect that as this is a very old desktop unit you will not find them unless the audio chip manufacturer supports windows 7 32/64 bit?
If you know what audio chip is being used then try the website to see if there are compatible win 7 drivers.

most likely, the drivers on the CD are not compatible with Win 7. try to download the drivers from the Lenovo support site. look for a compatible Win 7 drivers for your audio controller.

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Well i have a dell optiplex gx260 desktop pc for witch i recently installed windows 7.now i have prolem in finding windows 7 audio drivers

Unfortunately, Dell doesn't support Windows 7 for the OptiPlex GX260. You could try an older driver and see if it will work, but you can't get any Windows 7 drivers for the GX260. (At least not yet.)

ASUS P5GD2 Deluxe motherboard with no sound

This is a known isue and ASUS is working on a sound driver for the chipset. Keep checking their site for driver updates. The board should all install with Windows 7 except for the sound drivers. Some people say they can install the vista driver and run it in vist or xp compatibility mode. The other thing you can do is pick up a cheap $20 Win 7 compliant sound card till the chipset driver issue is resolved.

Audio driver for windows 7 ultimate

Your Driver might be incompatible or incorrect driver. Check carefully, if you install it incorrectly, your PC could be at risk.

Since Windows 7 is a new operating System. Most Manufactures don't have the drivers of it. Talk to your Computer Adminstrator or contact one.

Windows 7 has recently released, so it's not recommend to upgrade it. You can rollback to Vista or XP with the System Restore if you wish.

You can also contact or email Microsoft for more info.

your audio driver is not helpful for sound card which is you install on your pc.
plaese change this driver.
all windows have different driver for different devices.
so you install the driver compatible with window vista and sound card.
