After threading the machine, when I try to sew, the thread keeps tangling in the bobbin. I'll be most grateful if you can tell me what to do about this. Blessings, LaVerne

I have a feeling that you have the bobbin thread feeding the wrong way, flip your bobbin around and see if that makes a difference. Good luck to you, hope this works.

My bobbing thread keeps jamming

Make sure you are putting the bobbin in right side up. Some times it will do this if your needle size is incorrect to the fabric weight.

How do i put threed into the bobbin and keep it from not getting tangled?

Is it getting tangled while you're spooling the bobbin on the top right corner of the Singer 1507 machine? If this is the case, you have to pull the thread through the top tiny hole in the bobbin, and hold on to the thread end. Then click the bobbin to the right to lock it in place, power up your machine. Keep holding the thread as you begin spooling the bobbin. Let go of the thread once the bobbin starts to spin a few rounds and the thread should not get tangled.

I've tried everything that other users have suggested, but the thread keeps gathering immediately in the bobbin case. What should I do?

It has to be in the threading, either your thread is tangled, or incompatible with your bobbin thread. How is your needle?
Is the thread that is tangling from the bobbin? If, so you have your bobbin inserted upside down and the thread is not unwinding right. If, all that does not work, call Janome at 1-800-631-0183 before 5pm est

How do i adjust the bobbin tension on a tesco ej09 sewing machine? The bobbin thread keeps tangling underneath the material

Before adjusting the bobbin tension (small screw on the side of the bobbin case), try this.

Always thread a sewing machine with the presser foot up as this opens the tension control for the top thread so the thread can be properly seated for control when stitching.

Often what appears to be a problem with the bobbin thread is actually the top thread going loosey-goosey.

Trying to use and bobbin keeps tangling up with loads of thread

Oil the bobbin holder. Wipe small amount of oil on outside diameter of bobbin holder. Replace.

Also try using better quality thread. Some thread is not consistent in diameter or has lots of small fibers - it will not got through the eye of the needle easily and will become tangled.

My sewing machine keeps getting jammed when sewing. the top stitch keeps getting tangled in with the bobbin thread and jamming up the machine.

Hello,
Here are a couple of things to try.

* Un-thread your machine and remove your bobbin. Clean any loose thread or lint out of your
bobbin case. Re-thread your machine, reinsert and re-thread your bobbin.

* Change your bobbin
There could be a nick along the edge of your bobbin spool that’s catching your thread as you
sew.

* When you start to sew a seam, grasp the upper and bobbin thread tails. Hold them back
and out of the way as you sew your first couple of stitches. This will keep them from getting
caught in your machine.

I hope this helps.

Jammed thread.

To address my needle thread tangling (horribly) in the bobbin compartment, I rethreaded the bobbin. I cleaned the bobbin and the feeder feet, I changed the bobbin and the thread. I changed the tension on the needle thread and the bobbin thread. NO FIX! Then, I changed the needle - the problem was fixed instantly. I sewed awhile and then put the original needle back in. No problem. I think perhaps that the problem is being caused by the needle getting out of alignment somehow during sewing. If you are having the same issue, try it. It can't hurt!
