My pioneer indash avic d3 wont play dvd's you

this until has a safety feature installed that will not let you view video while in motion. it has a light green wire on the back that is supposed to be connected to the cars ebrake wire so that in order to view video you would have to have your ebrake ingaged. it also allows you to be able to type in address for the navigation. if this wire is not connect or not connected properly, you will get a messages that says drive can not view video will driving..

double check the connection....or you can just bypass it completely. i have attach a link on how you bypass this feature which will allow you to watch video and type in nav address while drivin

Have you gone through the settings on the d3? Most pioneers have a setting in the setup menu to turn on ipod video.

Ipod problems with Pioneer AVIC-D3

Do you have an ipod module or are you using ibus-to-rca cable to connect your ipod to the D3? In order to control full ipod functions by touch screen you need the ipod module, hence the D3 says ipod control ready not ipod control built in. Let me know so I can pin point the problem.

Full operation from D3?

I think you need an Ipod adapter, for sale on Ebay from $35 to $50. It is a module not just ibus to Ipod cable.

IPod Touch TV Out not working

Not sure if that works, but me us know if it does. Everything I have read suggests that it will not work. Apple has blocked any after market products from working like avic-d3. I think what you would also need with that is Apple TV. Let me know

AVIC-D3 ipod connect&dvd

Maybe you telephone mute wire is accidently touched with the frame(grounded). It's the yellow wire with black stripe, check see if it make contact with a ground point. If it does simply tape it up with some electrical tape. Let me know if that help.
