I have a new used (100K copies) Bizhub C450 with Fiery 402 and FS 603 hooked up to a Mac OS 10.6.4 and have downloaded the EFI Fiery X 3eTy 35C-KM PS v2.01. When I set the machine to print, duplex, fold and staple all it does is print and duplex. On copy command it will copy, duplex, fold and staple so the FS 603 is working fine. Any ideas on getting it to fold and staple on print command? Thanks.

In all such issues do a power reset. Pull the mains plug from the wall, wait 5 minutes and try again.

You can turn on PostScript error reporting as a print option from Mac OS applications.
Printer not found
Most failures to find a printer on the network are due to conflicting or missing name or
address settings for the Fiery. You must type names in specific places. The required names are:
•TCP/IP host name (also known as the DNS name), which is defined by your organization.
Type the host name as the Server Name in Fiery Setup.
•Remote printer (internal machine) name. Use one of the following:
print
hold
direct
NOTE: If you change the DNS name (also known as the TCP/IP host name) of the Fiery, you

Kyocera and Copystar models are the same just replace KM with CS.

When I manually install a printer, multiple PPD files are listed for the same Kyocera model. Which should I choose? When manually installing a printer or changing a PPD for a installed printer, both Linux and Mac OS X PPDs are listed for some older Kyocera models due to a change in PPD handling in Mac OS X 10.5. There are some Mac OS drivers.I think your printer is not compatible with Mac.

as i heard, there is a different drivers for mac os 10.5.2 and 10.5.1 so are you sure, that the driver you downloaded is made for 10.5.2.

Reinstall fiery system software.

Have you tried hiding the Doc in the finder?

Some programs will print VERY slowly s the application icon is showing while printing.

Are you using a Fiery? If so, have you installed the CUPS filter from their website? www.efi.com

The lates Mac OS has totally redone the way they communicate with printers and how they handle security communications.
Start looking in the Mac webpage for fixes or solutions, it is a system based issue from Mac.
