Plz try by reinstalling the sound drivers from the motherboard cd or you can download it from the manufacture website.
after reinstalling the drivers you are unable to play then plz download the audio codec from www.majorgeeks.com. you can download the vlc media player from same site.

We have a Wurlitzer rave on juke box that will not play the audio on a video CD. will pick up, place and spin, but no audio. Plays ordinary audio cd's ok, just not those with a video.

Is this Wurlitzer designed with a screen to play videos? Has it played video CD audio in the past?
There are a lot of different audio/video file types and some CD setups will only play 'audio' file types, (MP3, AAC, M4A). If the file format is commonly used as video the electronics in the player won't recognise the format and won't play it.

Why does my receiver start stop producing audio output half an hour after turning it on?

Most likely is an intermittent solder connection opening up as set warms up.

How to play audio clip in java

  • Create an AudioClip object
  • Load .au sound file into AudioClip
  • Play sounds once or loop continuously
  • Stop playback

Here's how the code for these steps looks:
import java.applet.*;
AudioClip ac = getAudioClip(getCodeBase(), soundFile);
ac.play(); //play once
ac.stop(); //stop playing
ac.loop(); //play continuously

It would seem logical to use this same code to play audio clips in a Java application. Unfortunately, if you do that you will get errors from the compiler. Why? Because the AudioClip object and the getAudioClip() method are part of the java.applet package -- and are not part of applications. The good news is we can dive down and make things work ourselves.
The trick to solving this problem is to use some undocumented features that are provided by Sun in its JDK. Taking a peek inside the classes.zip file from the Sun JDK (using any of the various zipfile utilities), we find not only the standard Java packages such as java.applet but also sun.audio. (These are in the directory sun/audio.)
The sun.audio package contains everything we need to be able to play audio clips! Here's the code:
import sun.audio.*; //import the sun.audio package
import java.io.*;
//** add this into your application code as appropriate
// Open an input stream to the audio file.
InputStream in = new FileInputStream(Filename);
// Create an AudioStream object from the input stream.
AudioStream as = new AudioStream(in);
// Use the static class member "player" from class AudioPlayer to play
// clip.
AudioPlayer.player.start(as);
// Similarly, to stop the audio.
AudioPlayer.player.stop(as);

To use a URL as the audio stream source, substitute the following for the input stream and audio stream setup:
AudioStream as = new AudioStream (url.openStream());

Playing the audio stream continuously adds a bit more complexity:
// Create audio stream as discussed previously.
// Create AudioData source.
AudioData data = as.getData();
// Create ContinuousAudioDataStream.
ContinuousAudioDataStream cas = new ContinuousAudioDataStream (data);
// Play audio.
AudioPlayer.player.play (cas);
// Similarly, to stop the audio.
AudioPlayer.player.stop (cas);

Coby mp-833

Hello,

If your adding music to the device and its not playing, its because your audio files are not the correct format. This unit only plays MP3 audio or Uncopyrighted Windows Media Audio files. You can test this by connecting the MP3 player, copy one of the sampe audio files under 'My Music' location on your computer and paste it on your mp3 player. It will play the audio fine.

How to play: Hold in play button until red ligh is steady, then press Play again to start the audio.

Make sure you remove any audio file that is not the correct format.

to check format of song:

right click the song, go to properties, under properties it will say 'Type of File', make sure this says MP3, thats the safest way to go.

Problem playing a downloaded audio book

Perhaps your audio book was from audible.com. They use their own audible format ( .aa instead of .mp3) and only certain mp3 players can play .aa files. If the book is in .aa format, go to www.audible.com and check to see whether or not your player is compatible with .aa files. If not, you're outta luck. durok
