I don't know if your using an antenna or other source but one quick test to see if your TV can display is to push the display or menu function. If your screen stays black then your TV has a problem and needs serviced. If your screen shows a menu then you may have a problem with the source video.
Try to elaborate more on your hook-up, it can be most helpful in solving display problems.

Samsung flat-screen TV model LNR328WX/XAA has no picture. Sound is okay. I suspect the power supply board has failed, and would to confirm that, before I order a replacement board.

I would definitely check on the SOURCE button on your remote control, set accordingly first. EXAMPLE#1: HDMI (1) / HDMI (2) or (3) or (4) / Component inputs, EXAMPLE: GAMES LIKE A X-BOX / Check the Regular TV input. Good Luck.

Typical failure for all plasma tv's is a blown Y-sustain board. Another high failure for all tv's is dried out bulging capacitors in any of the power boards. You likely have one of these problems.

If you are using HDMI output could be a bad or cheap cable.
I had same problem, tried another HDMI cable and all OK.

The YSUS control board has failed from the description given. This is typical of the symptoms presented. It can be removed fairly easily and sent to a repair center to be repaired.
