try resetting the camera if you can. This is a fairly easy procedure which involves either going into your setup menu and choosing "reset," or, removing the batteries for a few minutes. After which, you should have the camera reset to factory default settings.
Another tip for when you get home is to go to to the website and look for firmware updates. Download and install them.
Are you working with a Casio as this error is common with the Casio user.
In Casio EV-7, anti-shake only works in S-Mode or M-Mode and the speed must not be more than 4 seconds, which means the lighting must not be too dim.
If you have set it to the correct mode and lighting condition is not too dim, then you got to perform one more step - to set the anti-shake to on.
" In Record Mode, press Menu button
On Rec tab, select anti shake "
You will be given 3 options, Auto, Camera shake, Image blur.
Select Auto or Camera shake.
