Depending on your laptop, 8 GB SD cards may not work. That said, insert the SD card, open Computer, right click on the SD Card icon, format.

I HAVE A KODAK DX7440 JUST BOUGHT 8 GB MEMRY CARD HC,WHEN I PUT IT IN THE CAMERA IT DOESNT FORMAT TRIED MANY TIMES

The DX7440 works with MMC and SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work in the camera. You need to use MMC or SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Can not read sd cards. The blue light goes on after introducing the SD card in the slot (the small one on left side), but "My Computer" does not show the folder even after refreshing.

Is you're card a SD HC (High Capacity) Card (usually > 4GB)?

Some older readers dont read the HC cards, if so the solution may be to buy a usb reader that will read SDHC cards.

I can't get my sd card to work in the computer. Do I need something to make it work.

No you don't need something to make your sandisk(sd) card to work when you place it in the sd slot of your computer, now if your sd card is a hc or high compacity card then it would not work because the sd card reader is not new upgraded enough to the point of reading the hc cards if its not a hc card then your sd card reader may be broken you can buy a good new sd card and more port hub to work on your computer but i would check first if it is your card not the card reader.

Problem with reading Sandisk 4gig hc micro sd card in my computer and laptop

I guess you put the SD adapter into the card reader right out of the box? You first may have to partition/format it after unpacking it. Under WinXP I can recommend an utility "DiskPart" which you can start from the command prompt (Run... -> cmd). For further instructions (if it sounds to you to be the problem ) contact me again.

SD card slot problem

Yes, these HC cards require a different reader, than traditional SD cards. The builtin one on the laptop probably doesn't support them, since any SD card above 2gb is technically considered an HC SD card. so my advice is to go to a cheap computer parts supplier, and see if they have a reader that will work for HC SD Cards.

DAMN THE MAKERS OF FLASH MEMORY FOR BEING SO COMPLEX!!!!

Pocket PC e400 en Sandisk WiFi

I have bought the Bluetooth Option Part for my e400. It was an "PC Bluetooth SD Card2". In the specs of the Bluetooth Card is an SD/IO enabled SD Slot required for the Card. So I think your Wifi will also work.

E800 wifi with sd bluetooth card with emtec crux11/btgps

Many people here have reported issues with the default Windows Mobile 2003 Bluetooth stack (basically, it just doesn't work). What may be happening in your configuration is that the CF card software is installing another Bluetooth stack (e.g. Widcomm's). This would explain why everything works thereafter.

E800 with bluetooth card 2

It is very strange. The only thing that I can recommend you is to check Toshiba Bluetooth download page and check for stack update or FAQ page. Check it on http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/
