There are 3 sets of rca's on the back of this radio grey ,black,and red .what rcas are sub,front and rear?

This is usually the result of connecting both ORANGE and RED 12VDC (+) wires to a "switched" source (meaning it is powered only when the ignition is in the on / run / accessory position).

The radio instructions specify the following connections:

Orange = +12V constant
Red = +12V switched
Black = ground
Blue/white = remote on
Green/Black = Left Front -
Green = Left Front +
Grey/Black = Right Front -
Grey = Right Front +
Black/White = Right Rear -
Grey/Red = Right Rear +
Black/Green = Left Rear -
Green/Red = Left Rear +

If you disconnect the ORANGE wire from whatever you have it currently connected to - and connect it directly to the battery's 12V (+) terminal (or other source that has 12V (+) with the key removed), your station memories will be retained.

Leave the RED wire where it is, so that the radio will shut off whenever the key is taken from the ignition - and you won't be stuck with a dead battery in the morning.

If it is not the standard colour scheme then you should just google it..
Standard colours Red: ignition Yellow: power Black: earth Blue: Antenna control White and grey: front left and front right (black striped ones are negative) Green and purple: rear left and rear right (black striped ones are negative) RCA plugs are for sub-woofer (either on a cable coming out of the back of the head unit or there will be sockets labeled low out(or similar)) And of course the antenna cable

Here's the color codes for the wires.
Blue=power antenna
Blue/white=remote turn on for amp
Red=ignition
Yellow=battery
Black=chassis ground
Grey=right front (+)
Grey/black=right front (-)
White=left front (+)
White/black=left front (-)
Violet=right rear (+)
Violet/black=right rear (-)
Green=left rear (+)
Green/black=left rear (-)
RCA Connections:
Red=right rear to amp
White=left rear to amp

The RCAs plug into the back of the stereo labeled outputs. There may be front, rear and sub or just sub.

Blue white is remote to amp.... Grey and black are your RCA out to amp...

Usually clarion radios have seperate colors to designate front, rear and sub preamp outputs.
Since youre is grey and black, Assume the grey is front, and black is rear.
If one set is longer than the other, the short is the front, long = rear.
