After wash was completed, there are water sitting in fabric softener tray up to the full line

Hello Warren, thank you for your post!
From what you have described there is water filling up the fabric softener tray in your Electrolux washer, EWFLS70JSS. At times water will fill into your fabric softener due to draining and siphoning action however, this is a normal operation within your washer. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Water continuously drains and fills, and never gets particularly high

You will need to check you washer drain hose and make sure it is only inserted into your house drain pipe in the wall no deeper than 4-6 inches, alternately your house drain needs to be as high as the top of the washer lid. Be sure to secure your drain line from the washer to one of the water shut off fittings with a zip tie. You are most likely experiencing a siphon action because the washer hose is inserted too deep in the house drain. Pleazer Appliance...

My kenmore tumble action washer won't spin and I get err20 as well as beeps and blinking control panel lights. The washer is less than 2 years old and is used very little .. we are retired and just 2...

"F20" on display
(Water Inlet Problem-no water or insufficient
water supply) Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle
Unplug washer or disconnect power. Check the following: Are water faucets completely turned on?
Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer
clogged? Are water inlet hoses kinked? Are water inlet hoses frozen?
the water pressure and drain hose have alot to do with your problem. when a washer fills up all it does is opens the water valve. if there is not enough water pressure or the water is not turned on all the way, the flowmeter ( does exactly what the name says) will tell the washer there is not enough water coming to it while the valve is open. the drain hose is important because if it is to low it will syphon the water out of the machine while it is filling. when that happens the pressure switch will read that the water level is not rising and can cause you problem. if the drain hose is sitting all the way down in the drain pipe this will also happen. if the drain hose and water supply are ok i would start looking at the inlet valves please message me back with any further questions and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped when our chat has concluded in full Thanks again Rick

Washer won't drain.

My washer fills up with water and goes thru the wash cycle but when it's time to drain, it just sits there and clicks.

When washer sits and door is open, I get about 3 inches of water in tub.

There are 2 possible reasons for this to happen.
1- you have a sticking water inlet valve, turn off suuply and see if it still fills, if it does not, then the valve or valves need to be replaced, if it still fills, then water is probably coming from sink waste if the drain outlet is connected to same, in this event, raise outlet hose higher up to stop syphoning action..
Pleaase rate my solution.
Thanks.

Whirlpool Washer - Imperial Series Quiet Wash 2

your washers drain hose is too far down the drain pipe which is causing a siphoning action pull the washers drain hose out pipe some you should be able to hear water dropping into the pipe the reason it only happens in the rinse cycle is because the water from wash is being drained and before the water vacuum is broken the rinse water comes in causing it to keep draining

It sounds like you could have a couple of issues going on here. First of all, to answer the question about stacking the units; there is a mounting kit that you are supposed to use to place the dryer on top of the washer. The top is supposed to come off the washer to accomplish this. There are a couple of brackets to install and the dryer is supposed to mount to the washer with a couple of screws. Your local appliance store should be able to provide this for you. All you need is the model number of the washer and dryer. If the timer is only working on one cycle then you may have a bad timer. But...before we go jumping on that bandwagon...you mentioned that the washer is not filling and the water just keeps running out. This sounds like a problem known as "siphoning". If you have placed your drain hose in the standpipe in a manner that does not provide an air gap for drainage, the washer will not fill and will continue to "siphon" water from the machine as it tries to fill. If the washer cannot fill, the pressure switch will not shut off, and the timer will not advance any further. Double check your drain line to make sure you do not have it shoved too far down in the standpipe (3" to 4" should be sufficient). If the drain hose is sitting in the drain trap where the water sits, there's no air gap. Also, make sure you do not have the top of the standpipe sealed for any reason. Once again, you need an air gap in order for the water to drain properly. Let me know if this helps you.
