If the fans do not "spin", nor even "rock" slightly, just once, when you connect the AC power-cable, or press the ON/OFF button, then it is the power-supply that needs to be replaced, at least temporarily, to "trouble-shoot" the problem.

No display shows on monitor, no light in keyboard but both fan of smps & cpu are working, also mouse light in on.

Replace the RAM on other slot and check.
Remove CMOS cell and check.
Finally, change the powersupply and check, it could be due to powersupply not producing enough power.

No power for Compaq desktop after moving to another room

Try pushing it back in, making sure that it clips into place. You might have shorted out your motherboard though when you moved the pc into the other room. Are you getting power to the powersupply, ie - can you hear or see the powersupply fan spinning? If the power supply is not going on, you may just need a nore powersupply. I hope that helps.

Side by side wirlpool fridge freezer not cooling down

make sure the fan motors are running. there is one near the compressor in the bottom rear and one in the freezer area. also be sure the compressor is running. being it was in storage there could be rust on the motors or possibly a mouse could have chewed through some wires.
