How to set black & white print as defult for CLX-3175

Dear user,

You have to select monochrome print settings first. go to properties of your printer and choose the tab where you get to select between B&W and color.

Log into the service menu Samsung CLX-3175 without a numeric keypad similar to the unit Samsung SCX-4623F/FN:
Consistent set of combinations of "MENU" - "COPY ID" - "LEFT" - "RIGHT" - "MENU" - "BACK" . Samsung CLX-3175XX/X with a numpad press: Menu, #1934, Menu
The unit switches to English, if you installed any other.
In the menu appears TECH MODE.
In Samsung CLX-3175 to enter the reset require a password 1934. The numbers by pressing "LEFT" - "RIGHT",
After each number press the "OK"

The maximum paper weight that should be used on the CLX-3175 is 163gsm, so if you use thicker paper it would jam.

click on the taskbar to the logo of your samsung printer, the new picture show the printer click on printer settings then on color management and set the colors to "0" that is all.

Hi,

3175fn is acolor printer. if you want to set only grey or black only print. you have to go to printers & fax. select the printer right click properties and go to color and set as gery or black only print.

All of the manufacturers do the same thing to get people to buy their toners, if any toner is empty you don't get to print even black. Sometimes empty toner can scratch a drum so that's the excuse they use for making them that way.
