Question about Ovens

Hi Experts! I'm having problems with my Ariston FO87CIX oven. The oven turns on but if I try to set the temperature the oven turn off and the time resets. It's weird but I've worked out that any temperature over 100 degrees celsius sets this cycle going and at 100 degrees celius I can't cook anyting although it gets warm. The error code displayed is FSE2. My electric hob is also ariston and they're linked by one switch on the wall. If I was to replace my oven (if the problem can't be rectified) would that be a problem! Thank you in advance Experts!

One of 2 things, either the pt100(sensor) is faulty, or the control is defective. Unfortunately you need a digital multimeter to check the sensor first. When in doubt, replace both and all will be well.

problem je v nedostatku vzduchu pri ventilatori,treba viac priestoru pre ruru

problem is the lack of air when fan, need more space for tube

Before you figure that out let me caution you... there are many problems caused by the self clean feature...

Temperature control with gas ovens is not an exact science. However the control should be better than you say.

Have you tried reducing the set temperature to compensate for the 'overshoot'. It may be worth a try.

solved by rotate the temperature knob!!!
maybe would be a problem of the potentiometer or knobe of temperature

Hi
Press and hold the two buttons with the casserole dish on (one is crossed out) and use + or - to change the time.

Gas oven won't maintain temp. It turns off after reaching temperature set.

Hi ya mate sorry to hear your having problems with you oven,

The problem wiht your oven seems to ba a faliure of the fsd/ffd, it seems to me that this device is not completey gone but is faulty.

This device is used as a safety feature on gas ovens and is there to turn the gas off to the oven when the flame has failed.

The way it works is that the intial small flame heats up the the phile at the end of the cappliary tube which is connected to a valave which realses the gas to the oven..

what you need is to have it change

My bosh gas double oven was working fine but then it suddenly stopped. The electric display started to flicker , the igniter wouldn't spark up, lights in oven won't come on but fan did . After several hrs it came back on as normal . Any info would be appreciated.

I have just bought a GE double oven JK5500 27 inch. It starts at a temp of 35 and takes nearly 5 hrs to get to 154 and remains there. It stays on pre bake or pre roast the whole time. Elements won’t glow red. What could be the problem?
