I was using my Durabuilt Air Compressor (6 gal DP0200604) and while I wasnt looking it started blowing oil everywhere. Upon closer inspection I noticed what looks like a rubber priming bulb had ''blown off'' can I just replace this or is there a potentially worse problem? Know where I can get parts for this? The compressor was still working, I just turned it off.

30W non detergent oil, get at least a quart, change oil as often as you would an engine oil, same hours of use. Synthetic non detergent 30W would be preferred.

durabuilt will be the assembled unit but the compressor is made by some one else
you will have to identify the maker of the compressor to have any chance of getting a rod
makers leave a casting sign on the crankcase of the compressor or even a brand name
you could try a retailer for the compressor and find a service center for repairs and get the rod from that angle
breaking rods or needing rods for compressors is very unusual and one possible cause of a rod problem is excessive pressure being generated ( 150 psi or more )

Oil free pumps do tend to blow the piston ring (not too expensive) available at searsparts.com. Remove covers to pump and manually turn crank until piston is at top and look at the condition of the cylinder neer top, If it looks scratched, order cylinder kit with piston ring. If it looks good and shiney, could be the valve plate in the head. There are reed valves that tend to break. Run pump however with covers removed and check with soapy water for air leaks and repair as needed (air leaks under the cover will prevent unit from filling). Good luck

Howdy. It's actually called Compressor Oil and is available at nearly all hardware stores and tool rental agencies. There are several brands and they are all comparable. I use Senco, but Campbell Hausfield is also good. Farmerbear at FixYa.com

Have you checked for a breaker on the unit? it would be out of sight but assessable and look like a small switch.
