If its not grabbing the paper at the front, most likely the rollers are worn out. Washing them can help, but replacement is optimum. Also you make want to take light card board (for example, envelope used for priority mailing) rip it in half and use only 1 side, and manually force it up the area where the paper stops, they maybe a small piece of jammed paper in there
I dont know how good you are with taking things apart, so I would suggest first
taking the paper tray out as well as the cartridges. turn unit around so you are facing the back and if possible have the printer stick out over a table just enough so that you have access to the rollers and try to clean them, if still does not help, put unit on side, carefully.
there is access to the rollers if certain parts are taken out, but but requires some work

Yes I suspect there are dirty rollers, or maybe worn rollers (although i haven't given it frequest use), where the paper is jamming. So, how do i get underneath? (these are not the rollers which are visible when you open the rear door) Do I take out the toner and turn it on its side? Are there other pieces i should remove before tilting the printer, like the waste reservior? Are the rollers visible once i turn it over? what should i use to clean them - just water? should they be removed or just cleaned in place? I will also try pushing a sheet of smooth cardboard into the underside rollers, just in case. If that doesn't work, where do I get replacement parts - only samsung?
