Hi, my problem is with my nokia bh-214 headset.. when i try to connect it asks for a passcode.. i didnt get on with the unit and have tried the recomended codes like 0000, 1111, 9999, 1234, none of which worked for me.. any help here would be much appreciated.. thanks joel...

Trying to pair a blue tooth headset to a Computer is a mundane task. As far as I know, Windows do not have drivers included in their package. I am trying to find out a suitable driver software from internet, but still not successful.

I've had this issue with a Jabra stereo bluetooth. I had to turn off bluetooth on the phone, then back on, then it paired as usual. You may need to quickly power down the phone to reset. If you have not entered a password, it will still be 0000. Hope that helps.

I used Toshiba Bluetooth stack v7.00.10(T) driver Win7x64 (search in google to download the installer), work fine with my BH-214 to connect with PC (A2DP 1.2 (btooth audio profile) & AVRCP (player navigation control profile)) & at the same time with my phone (HFP, HandsFree profile). Applied CSR bluetooth dongle 2.0, got from store for only $2.50.

In case that head set was new means, Directly we can put 0000 but i want to know if that is old means and we cant remeber our own password than what we can do.... any body knows.....

You have to hold the button down on the headset controller for approximately 6 seconds until the little LED on it flashes blue very quickly. The X6 will see it and match a pair automatically. If you just switch the headset on and the light flashes green the x6 will ask you for a passcode ... it doesn't matter what you put in (it seems) even '0000' ....it won't match the pair. HTH
