Color faded my philips magnavox "philips magnavox 9p5511c102 has problem with color . it's so faded that so unclear and almost look like black and white pitcure. I have lost my manuel and remote control.Do you guys have any idea..please help me out

It sounds like you need a replacement remote. :-)

Unfortunately, from what I've found researching this for you, you can no longer buy the original remote. However, there is a substitute available that should be able to perform most if not all of the functions of the original.

what is the model number? is it a plasma? lcd? crt projection?

Projection TV sets are known to have two common problems. The first problem that is common to these sets is convergence failure. When this happens the TV will usually look 3D, Wavy/Distorted, etc. It may also shutdown and blink an error code.

The second common problem with Projection TV sets is dull video, halos around objects, white looking video, or red overpowers the screen. This is commonly caused by the fluid in the lens being clouded overs. To get fixed either call in a local TV repair company or goto sites such as Tv Repair Kits to get a repair kit with instructions. Yes the coolant in the CRts need replacement. You can get the Phillips CRT Coolant repair kit at the following link which contains the coolant and instructions.

I have the same Tv.. Repair tech said it was the deflection board. Cost $395.00 to repair.

the color in my tv is a little faded when theres dark scenes on cant really see picture. Red and Blue really fade into picture
