Epson CX6600 Skips every other 5th line when printing

My Epson printer is not printing 2 rows every 3 to 4 rows of print. It just skips 2 lines cleanly. What can I do?

I just started having the same problem. I've tried cleaning the print head, installing new cartridges and nothing has worked. I'm desperate for a solution!

Run the print head cleaning routine from the printers driver or control panel. you may have to run it 3 or 4 times to regain all the lines.

When printing its very light and it skips a line epson RX595

I take out the cartridges to reveal the print heads within the carriage.
Then connect a syringe with a pipe on it filled with cleaning fluid and force the fluid through each print heads. Please follow link.

Changed black ink cartridge to LD brand. Now printer only prints every few lines. Skips lines of black text. Will print other colors of text but the colors are very light--not as dark as they should be,...

Canon printers do not like non Canon inks. Maybe other printers have similar issues but it seems that Canon is particularly finnicky.

My Epson CX6600 prints but the words seem to have skipped parts. No word or line is complete. Although there is ink, printing is very light. Any suggestions?

This sounds like you need to replace the ink cartridges. Stuff is missing because the ink is very low or empty. Also, if you have just replaced the ink cartridges then you might need to do a cleaning cycle on the printer.

I replaced an ink catrage on my Lexmark Z33 printer and it does not print propertly. It will print some lines on the page properly, but some it skips a line and part of another line and then prints the...

I have an Epson w/c had this problem a # of times. Go to the printer PROPERTIES tab (right click printer icon might work). Click on UTILITIES & you should see options for NOZZLE CHECK, HEAD CLEANING & PRINT HEAD ALIGNMENT. Follow instructions on all 3 until your Print Head Alignment printout is perfect. It might take a few head cleaning procedures
before you get it right. Good luck.

Full ink cartriges print a few lines and skip a few lines

well..did you run a test page?

or clean the print heads?

or recalibrate them?
