The other day my Sony CDX R3300 just stopped working...none of the buttons on the player work except for the "off" button. The CD player works but I can't control the volume or select track. I can only eject a CD after I disconnect the CD player then re-attach it again. I have no idea what to do with this.

Please press Reset switch in CDX-S2200. You can see it if you de-attache front panel.
If problem still exist, then you need to replace IC300 " 6-705-360-02 " IC TDA8588BJ/N2/R1

Hey jshaff, try taking off the detachable front, and you will see a reset button, press and hold in for 10 secs, this should solve your problem. if it doesn't work first time keep trying. you must have power to the head unit for this to work. you will hear the cd make a noise and that should be that, try and let me know.

Add SubWoofer with separate Amp and use low pass filter @78hz cuttoff.
It's a cheap unit -don't expect High Fidelity & a warm EQ<
