I have a 195-something Massey Ferguson TO30. I need to change the Hydraulic/Transmission fluid but I don't know the correct oil to use. I have been getting mixed answers, especially from the local tractor repair place. They gave me a universal oil that looks too thin. Can you help steer me in the right direction?
Thanks
Vicki

maybe, If the hydro fluid level is up then you most likely need to change or clean the hydro filter. when they stop up they will cause it to cavitate. cavitation will add air bubbles to the fluid and make it look a little milky. It would be best if you can drain it and add new. please let us know if this helps. note that they will usually be jerky on lifting just befor no lift.
