How do I remove the base of the TV model # LNT4061FX so that I can hang on the wall?

Panasonic flat panel televisions are packaged with a small television stand that users can attach to place the television on a flat surface. Some users, after attaching the stand, would prefer to hang the television on a wall instead. If the stand is still attached to the Panasonic TV, you cannot hang the television on the wall. Remove the stand from the TV to hang it on a wall.
Step 1
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and lay the television, screen down, on a towel. The towel helps prevent damage to the screen. Step 2
Remove the four retaining screws that secure the stand from the bottom of the television using the Phillips screwdriver. Step 3
Slide the stand out of the television. Place the stand and the screws in a safe place in the event you change your mind and decide to set up the television on the stand again. The television is now ready for hanging on a wall.

Before detaching the stand, unplug the AC cord from the AC INPUT terminal. Before performing work spread cushioning over the base area to lay the TV on. This will prevent it from being damaged.
With the hex key that came with the television stand remove the four screws from the bottom back of the television and remove the stand.
If you also wish to remove the post from the stand base unit you can remove the four screws that attach them.

Most LCDs have anywhere from 4 to 6 screws holding base on. Lay it on a table on its face with base hanging over the edge, using a towel or blanket so you don't scratch it. The screws should be just above where the base goes into it. remove them and the base should pull right out. Good luck!

First remove the two screws from the underside of the base, pull the oval base clear from the stem. This will reveal two screws within the stem, remove these and the four on the back of the stem. Job done, hang enjoy.

Toshiba has about six screws holding the base legs on remove them and pull the base straight down till the legs come out all the way

look at the rear of the tv there are four phillips head screws holding the base on unscrew them and lift the base off

There are 16 phillips head screws on the back of the TV above the base, remove all of them and the base just falls out.

lay tv down on a flat soft surface remove 4 philips screws on back on either side of signal brd inputs base will pull out of bottom

The base removes with the support arms that rise the height of the tv. remove all the screws from the back of the support arms and the base will slide out with the arms. you will need the holes open to mount to the wall mount
