The game/characters will change to having a silver ouline around them. Doesnt matter what game is played. Tired changing from HDTV to TV with switch on back of plug and inputs on back of tv but only got sound and no video. Wonder if I have a cable problem or an Xbox problem.

This worked for me: do not delete your game. Click start new game and go through until you are in your room walking around. Then click L+R+start+select to restart the game. Choose your save file and it should load normally.
this is a glitch that occurs sometimes when your character takes damage and you walk through a door or something causing game to load to a new screen/area. You will have to load an earlier saved game to get rid of the annoying red ring around tv screen
It probably will support. It most likely gives this message because the refresh rate is too high when it switches to that resolution. An LCD monitor runs best at 60Hz. I'm currently on a mac so I can't recall clearly the PC steps, but I believe you can right click on the desktop to get a menu. Click on Properties. Then click on the settings tab. In there you will see an advance button. Then a new window will open with more tabs. In there I think the refresh rate is in there maybe in the monitor tab. This will although, probably only change the resolution you're on. But if you have an extended driver support for your model, you may also have a list somewhere of the Refresh Rate Hz for different resolutions with out having to change the res in order to change the Hz rate. ALSO - in game settings or menu options somewhere of the game, there might be a Refresh Hz Rate somewhere. Confusing enough?? :-) I know you'll figure it out, I only hope this helps a bit. - Scotty
