I have an NEC '19 Multisync LCD 1920nx monitor. The display went blank and will not come back on. There's power going to it. It just doesn't display and image. How do i fix this?....thanks

the inverter or the lcd bulb may be out. inverters are cheap, bulbs are not. is the screen dark like its off or glowing black? if its dark like the bulb is off, next, look closely and see if you can make out a faint image on the dark screen, if so, it is likely the inverter.

more than likely it's not your monitor, but your graphics card. Do you have on board graphics or do you have a graphics card installed?

Screen and colors too bright

CRT and LCD will look different when compared side by side. Is your CRT calibrated, or are they right in the sense that they are what you are used to? Also Anyway, you can adjust the colors and light levels from the menu on your screen, and depending on your operating system and graphics adapter you should be able to make adjustments there, too. For windows XP, right click your desktop and select properties->Settings->Advanced. There might be a color management tab. Also, there might be software to help you do this already installed. Look for a program group with the name of your Graphics adapter manufacturer. Very often ATI or nVidia.
