Focus when i start my sony vpl-cs2 projector i get an image i can see everything twice like its a shadow

Sony VPL-DX100 projector red light blinking first focus coming after 20 second focus off than red light blinking now how to solve this problem

This projector has a very short throw distance of approx. 7 1/2 feet to 9 1/2 feet. Anything over or under that distance will be out of focus.

You probably have to lower the resolution on your PC before you connect the projector. The frequense also can´t be to hight. Start with 800*600 at first then on increase if it works.

Is the buld u changed right and in working condition.please clean the optic lens and image CRT board which ( Scanner image board) to see if the issue remaisn or nott

reset the settings to factory default and change your cable. if that doesn't help, the polarizer filter on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. the optical engine will need to be replaced.

I have similar problem with same projector. Did you ever find solution? Changing bulb had no effect.

Take out your lamp and check for any irregularity like marks or discolouration.

If there is no visible damage - put back the lamp and take of the top cover - start the Projector and check if all your fans are running - that is if the machine starts at all.

If the unit doesn't start up at all you will have to replace the Mainboard.

You are going to have to read the manual, and operate the projector as you read each section
