Where does the drain hose connect? Once I find that out, I should know
the hose diameter so I can go to ACE Hardware or Home Depot and buy
the length of hose I will need.
thanks,

SOURCE: How to connect drain hose?
You need the white pipe that came with it. Remove the circle on the back left of the unit with pliers or a screwdriver. Take out the bucket. screw the hose to the pipe. Push the pipe through the hole in back and break through the rubber membrane. In front, connect the white pipe to the elbow pipe at the top. Make sure the smaller tab on the white pipe (back of machine) is pointing down and the larger one up. The smaller tab goes behind the back cover and (sort of) holds the pipe in place. You still need the bucket in place for the machine to turn on.

it should be generic. you just need a part with the same thread pattern. you could fix that a lot of different ways. as long as it screws in your ok. make sure you put some teflon tape on it to prevent it from dripping

Do you have to break the opening guard?
I bought the hose at Sears but I am not
sure that the large diameter of the hose conector will
fit through the opening. Do I need an addopter?
Unfortunately my wife tosed out the box and with it
the instructions and posibly the conection part.
