Drawer How do I get the drawer out? My fabric conditioner slot is full of water and I can't get the drawer out to empty it? Any advice?

Try taking out the drawer and washing it our thoroughly. They get clogged up with residues.

Check that the hose that connects the drawer to the tub is clean, fabric conditioner normally gunks up especially on colder wash cycles.

In the drawer where the conditioner goes there is normally a tube with a cover over it, if this tube is blocked or the cover is not fitted correctly i.e. pressed on enough the conditioner will not siphon out when it should and you will end up with a compartment full of water.

Suggest you pull the drawer right out and look for the hole in the bottom of the drawer where the conditioner is meant to drain out.

The top of this hole whould have a removable cover over it. What normally happens is that the inside of this cover gets choked with old conditioner.

Take the cover off and give the whole thing a really thorough clean with hot water and an old toothbrush.

lift out the blue part of the conditioner compartment and you'll see attached a tube at the end.
clean this out completely.
also check the tube in the compartment is clear.
poke a cotton bud down it to clear it.
if you want to check to see if its worked take the drawer out(blue button at back of drawer) put the blue grid back in the dispenser and fill the compartment up under the tap ,hold the drawer level.
as it gets full you should see water start to flow out the back ,turn the tap off and if its worked the compartment will slowly empty.
these were a big problem for hotpoint and concentrated conditioners will block it regularly.

take out the drawer that the powder and conditioner goes in. the conditioner spout to allow the liquid to empty from the drawer will be blocked with a mixture of powder and conditioner. clear it thru with a sharp screwdriver or similar and wash under the tap. replace back in place should empty fine then. hope this helps.
