I overstuffed my washer and now the led reads f du. How can I unlock the door

The DU indicates a door unlock failure which seems to be the problem...I found this answer through google.
you may want to do the same just type it into google.
all I typed in was...what does du mean on a washing machine..
so check it out before you do anything to your door.

unplug it for an hour and read the manual

DU = Door Unlock code

Washing machine displays error code F/DU after six attempts to unlock.
-Door lock assembly failed.
-Test door lock switch
-Visually inspect wire harness connection on CCU, Door lock assembly, replace door lock assembly.

The door lock assemble on this washing machine can be replaced from either the top of the front. The door boot can be removed or the top of the washer can be removed.

'DU' stands for Door Unlock Error. There is likely to be a problem with either the door solenoid/lock or the 'door open/closed' sensor. Both require a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(

Door unlock error. The machine tried 6 times to unlock the door. Must be an item of clothing jamming the door. take the bottom panel off and reach up and grab the emergency ring, GENTLY release the door amigo. Use this GUIDE for repairs
and use your tech sheet inside that base panel for error codes and diagnostics.

Let it run through its cycle. At the end take 1/4 of the clothing out put it aside in a hamper. re run load with some of the clothes taken out. Then washer the other clothes afterwards.

brand new and you changed the latch mech.? door latch or lock asm.? DU is door unlock error, it tried to unlock and cant. usually replace lock asm (inside machine) for this problem. may have latch out of alignment.
