There's no SP900N but there is:

• SPC900NC/27: Software
  
• SPC900NC/37: Software
  

I'm not sure Mac and SPC work together - Here are the drivers available for that device.

That was a lousy suggestion that Nuance gave you. The operating system doesn't care where on the hard drive the information is or how close to another folder one specific bit ( bytes ) is. If it were me I would let them know that too
Just checked with Phillips and there 4 different models of your webcam all ending with a /xx after the ' spc900nc '...
check on http://www.support.philips.com/support/html/index_gb_en.html#../~scripts/xsltransformsearch.asp?url=http://www.sms.philips.com/catalogue/list?sid=SMS||type=CONSUMER||locale=gb_en||mode=prod_text||item=spc900nc||page=1||show=50&xsl=search_result.xsl to get latest information or drivers concerning your webcam. They will also answer questions about support. You will have to type your webcam info into the box in the top middle of the screen.
