No signal and no picture, is it dead?

Hi two days ago i noticed that my Benq FP757-12 is not displaying picture at all. I tried connecting it to my laptop computer and the only thing I get is a millisecond of screen display. Tried changing cable to no avail. It only blinks two to three times and remains black the rst of the time.

Is it dead? Is there anything that can be done with it to test?

please advise

Petar

Hi,

The picture board on your monitor is bad, since the lines are causing visual display, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.

The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity to help with the replacement of the picture board because the fault is not something you can fix yourself. in other not to complicate issues.

I'm trying to set up BenQ FP71G+ as a second monitor connecting to Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT. I cannot get the BenQ to display even if it is the only monitor connected. However, I can see the BenQ in...

I have had problems occasionally with connecting a second monitor, too. Hook up both monitors. In the Windows control panel, look up display (or right click on your desktop and select display). Is the second monitor shown? If not, click "detect" and see if it shows up. I have had a couple times where I clicked on the monitor icon in "display" and then clicked "enable this monitor" and it started working. If not, then try switching the cords so your working monitor is the second one. try again and see if it show up. If not, the problem is probably with the video card or video card driver. Try and update the driver for your card.https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-8800-gt
If this does not work, the issue is probably the card.

I have connected my Toshiba laptop to a benq PB6210 beamer but cannot get presentation on the screen. I need help

Hi there,

1) Turn off the BenQ power, before connecting your VGA cable to the Toshiba laptop.

2) Once your laptop recognises the BenQ unit, you then need to tell your laptop to send an output signal to the BenQ - you do this by pressing your 'screen output' button (this is usually one of the function keys and you may need to hold the key for 1sec). The output function key can choose either single VGA output, or both laptop screen + VGA output.

first problem could be the hdmi cable you are using is loose or broken.second, the display mode you selected was wrong, try to go to desktop and right click and choose nvdia control panel and choose the nview display mode to use, select the only use one display(single)and apply.

"No Signal" floating notice on Blue Screen - No other picture

If all connections and the tuner have the same issue, you either have a power supply issue or a bad digital board.
